THE SCREENSCAN PC The ScreenScan PC model takes full advantage of digital technology, transforming your microfilm reader or reader-printer into a complete digital image workstation. The high-resolution scanning and sophisticated image enhancement module scans at up to 400 dpi (monochrome) and includes 256 level greyscale. This unique and patented image enhancement processor yields exceptional image sharpness and quality, allowing direct image transfer for digital storage, print, fax and email. ScreenScan employs specially designed ISIS drivers, enabling the incorporation of microfilm images into existing imaging systems. Standard compressed TIFF and JPEG formats are created for use in thousands of applications, viewed on a PC via ScreenScan’s imaging software. Users can use their preferred software to alter image formats for ease of file transfer across a network or viewing over the internet. |
