THE SCREENSCAN 100 The ScreenScan 100 DRP is simple scanner attachment to a microfilm reader or reader-printer that transforms microfilm screen images into superb quality digital images. The system scans at up to 400 dpi in monochrome and the unique and patented image enhancement processor yields exceptional image sharpness and quality. The ScreenScan 100 DRP allows direct image transfer to laser printers via either a video or centronics print interface without the need for a PC. Fitting could not be easier. Most microfilm readers have removable screens to allow easy access to internal optical components. ScreenScan takes advantage of this feature by replacing the original with a precision glass screen, which is part of the high-resolution scanning and sophisticated image enhancement module. |
